Marvel Celebrates Loki’s Thanos Easter Egg With Special New Toy
One of the most successful Marvel Studios Disney+ shows last year was Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. The series saw the God of Mischief arrested by the TVA after diverging from his 2012 Avengers timeline in Endgame. What followed was an absolutely wild ride as he met Variants of himself across the universe—the main one being Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino.
With a show that traverses the Multiverse as Hiddleston’s series did, it presents plenty of opportunities to showcase some unique Easter eggs, such as somehow successfully showing off Frog Thor in the show or the Pyramid that Kang the Conqueror used to go back in time to Ancient Egypt.

Another big nod that got lots of attention around its debut was none other than the Thanos-Copter. While fans didn’t see Josh Brolin’s villain take flight in it in either Infinity War or Endgame, some version of the Mad Titan out there did, in fact, terrorize his universe from the skies, just as he did in the comics.
Now, that flying reference will forever be immortalized in Hot Wheels format.
A Special New Thanos MCU Toy
A new Hot Wheels figure from Mattel brings to life one of fans’ favorite Easter eggs from Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Disney+ series.

The reference in question is the Thanos-Copter:
The vehicle made its appearance in the show’s fifth episode at the end of time, being a remnant of Allioth’s destruction.
This Hot Wheels figure was actually originally a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive that came with a miniature Thanos but is now being re-released with the Loki name on it as a slightly different Variant––which is rather fitting.

Thanos’ Copter Forever Immortalized
Ever since Thanos was announced as being a big bad in the MCU, jokes about his infamous copter from the comics have popped up consistently within fan discourse. Flash forward to today, and now it’s actually a real canon vehicle in the universe—even if it’s only at the end of time.
Even Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn was excited by the Easter egg when it came out. The excitement is certainly understandable. After all, who would have thought the famous helicopter would see the light of day?

Now fans just have to hope that the creatives behind Loki can take it one step further and actually show it in use at some point in Season 2. With the Multiverse and the TVA at Marvel Studios' disposal, anything is possible.
Loki Season 2 is set to begin production later this year, with a likely release in 2023.
