After years of starring in his own solo series on Netflix, Charlie Cox has finally made his way onto the big screen within the MCU as Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil. While the debate about the show's canonicity to the larger universe is still a hot topic, Cox had just over a minute of screen time in Spider-Man: No Way Home offering his services to Tom Holland's Peter Parker.  Now that Cox's Daredevil is officially in play, fans are already looking forward to where he may show up next, particularly as he has yet to appear in costume as the Man Without Fear. Rumors have pointed to him being in line for a role in this year's She-Hulk , even teasing that fans will actually see him don the classic yellow Daredevil suit for the first time on screen. ADVERTISEMENT The even bigger news is that Cox was reportedly seen as one of the biggest names on the cast list for Echo , which also includes Kingpin star Vincent D'Onofrio as they pr

Daredevil has had quite an interesting history in terms of his on-screen portrayals, which kicked off with Ben Affleck's run in the live-action Daredevil movie from 2003. Fast-forward more than a decade, and the Man Without Fear is now being played by Charlie Cox, who's built a legacy as the Marvel hero on Netflix and now on the big screen. Most recently, Cox appeared in his first-ever MCU movie, as he played Matt Murdock in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home , serving as the first of many ovation-worthy cameos. This comes after playing the role in three seasons of his solo Daredevil show on Netflix, also having reprised it for The Defenders , and he's now set to be the MCU's man behind the red mask. ADVERTISEMENT 2015's  Daredevil Marvel Studios certainly took plenty of inspiration from early films like Affleck's Daredevil , using them to build a superhero movie universe that's now beloved by fans. Spider-Man: No Way Home  delivered a rare moment when the film united all three Spider-Men from different generations. Directed by Jon Watts, the MCU movie pushed the Multiverse to the forefront by bringing back villains from past  Spider-Man films, such as Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus. However, the big surprise came when Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's web crawlers entered the scene to aid Tom Holland's MCU hero.  Maguire and Garfield's involvement in No Way Home revived conversations about which Spider-Man stands out the most. The topic dominated social media throughout the film's theatrical run, thus leaving fans to comment on their respective picks.  ADVERTISEMENT The conversation even branched out to which Spider-Man movie is the best, thus leading to more discussion online. Now, a Marvel actor has been prompted to join the debate.  Charlie Cox Can't Choose Which Spider-Man Is the

There was a lot to take in for those who watched Spider-Man: No Way Home . For one, villains such as Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock were back on the screen as if they never left. On top of that, both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire put back on their Spidey suits to aide Tom Holland’s webhead. The cherry on top? Charlie Cox’s return as Matt Murdock. The last time the hero was seen was in Netflix’s Daredevil , which ran for three seasons before getting canceled. When he was on the screen, all of his stories never really intersected with the bigger MCU storyline or characters (the show’s canonicity in that regard is still in question). ADVERTISEMENT But if the character were to have been able to interact and crossover more with other franchises, what storylines would have been touched upon? According to the actor under the suit, he would have enjoyed seeing a romance blossom between Matt Murdock and Scarlet Johansson’s Black Wido

Headlines were recently made that all the former Netflix Marvel shows would be leaving the Big N permanently and arriving at a new residence, Disney+, on March 16. This includes the likes of Daredevil , Jessica Jones , Luke Cage , Iron Fist , The Defenders , and The Punisher . Needless to say, fans were equally excited and surprised. For one, it’s exciting to have all of these characters under the same streaming umbrella—even if their general MCU canonicity is still up for debate. However, all of them have some pretty mature content in them. ADVERTISEMENT There’s the extreme violence found in Daredevil and Punisher , PTSD from rape in Jessica Jones , and the spotlighted racial issues in Luke Cage . All of these are subject matters which are hard to see living on a Disney service. One of the biggest stars of those shows, Charlie Cox, who played Matt Murdock, has now voiced his opinion of if he thinks his character can work in a more PG-friendly setting
