Image
The day many DC fans have been waiting for is almost here: the release of  The Batman . Directing is Matt Reeves, who has now been attached since 2017 before the studio even decided who was going to be its Caped Crusader. Most may know Reeves' work on the most recent  Planet of the Apes  trilogy starring Andy Serkis, and the filmmaker also helmed the 2008 horror-found footage movie  Cloverfield . Michael Keaton Shares Special Selfie Celebrating Batman Return

Image
One of the biggest announcements Warner Bros. has made in regards to the DCEU was the return of Michael Keaton as Batman. On top of this, it's set to be the very same character fans watched in his original films. This was all made possible thanks to the Multiverse story in which Ezra Miller's  The Flash  will be telling, one which would bring the old Caped Crusader back into the spotlight. Keaton's return will be far more than just a simple cameo. Not only will he play a major role in the Scarlet Speedster's first solo film, but he is set to return in more projects after that. The first one, at least known to audiences, is  Batgirl . ADVERTISEMENT While his part in the movie's proceedings is unknown, set photos have confirmed that Keaton will be donning the suit once again for Leslie Grace's debut project; likely as her mentor and trainer. Now the actor has taken to social media to tease his much-anticipated return.  Michael Kea...

MCU Writer Teases Moon Knight vs. Batman Differences

Image
The comic book movie genre is about to see some major expansion from both Marvel and DC. Warner Bros. is in the final stages of prep for Robert Pattinson's The Batman in theaters, while Marvel Studios is almost ready to release Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight on Disney+. Fans are even enjoying a new look at the latter thanks to the Moon Knight spot that premiered at Super Bowl LVI. Over the years, fans have noticed a number of distinct similarities between the two crimefighters, which hasn't turned out so well for Moon Knight in the public eye. ADVERTISEMENT Bruce Wayne and Marc Spector are both known to be quite wealthy superheroes with killer costumes and a hoard of gadgets that help both of them in their missions - that much is true for each of them. The Batman Reveals Tragic Backstory of Paul Dano's Riddler

Image
The DC Extended Universe will make its long-awaited return to theaters in March 2022 with Matt Reeves' The Batman . Robert Pattinson's new take on the Caped Crusader is set to employ a Year One-style story where he will come face-to-face with a trio of classic villains from DC Comics. Leading the way in that villainous effort will be Paul Dano's Riddler, who remains a mystery even with just a few weeks until his debut. Throughout Warner Bros.' promotional tour for The Batman , fans still haven't gotten an actual shot of Dano's Riddler in footage from the movie itself. The solo movie's synopsis has only minorly teased the villain's presence in the plot, and there are still no signs pointing to how he will come into play alongside Carmine Falcone, the Penguin, and Catwoman. ADVERTISEMENT The best look fans have had at the Riddler is through various promotional posters featuring other heroes and villains along with plenty of ...

The Batman Movie Ad Jokingly Claims Iron Man Is Better

Image
Marvel's Iron Man and DC's Batman have many classic traits in common. Both of them are billionaires, superheroes, and orphans whose parents died when they were young. As a result, the similarities between the two often lead to fan debates about who is better. The discussion was further amplified when the MCU and the DCEU launched on the big screen.  The Caped Crusader has been a generational hero, with Gotham's protector being played by iconic actors such as Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, and Ben Affleck. Meanwhile, the live-action Tony Stark is only portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. starting in 2008's Iron Man  and going all the way to 2019's Avengers: Endgame .  ADVERTISEMENT The DCEU is now transitioning into a brand new chapter as it welcomes another actor who is set to play its new iteration of the Dark Knight. This comes with Robert Pattinson set to don the cape and cowl for a fresh new take on Gotham's protector in Matt Ree...

Peacemaker's Nhut Le on Judomaster Role, John Cena Scenes, and Batman Hopes (Exclusive)

Image
While last year didn’t have much content for DC Comics fans, audiences are eating well in 2022. The Batman is just over a month away and, more currently, James Gunn’s Peacemaker is airing new episodes on HBO Max. Starring John Cena, the show takes the miraculously alive character and puts him right into the spotlight. After the events of The Suicide Squad , the (potentially) former villain has a new lease on life—one that’s almost immediately interrupted by ARGUS, who has a different plan for his future. A new team is formed, led by Chukwudi Iwuji’s Clemson Murn, whose task is to hunt down Butterflies. What exactly does that mean? Well, as of Episode 4, it seems to be referencing people controlled by an alien parasite resembling the aforementioned insect. ADVERTISEMENT One of their first official missions is to assassin a potential group of butterflies; it’s not an ordinary group, however. It’s a senator and his entire family. Not only that, but they h...
