After a long dilemma with Disney that led to a recent stint at DC, James Gunn is coming back to the MCU this year as work gets underway on the long-awaited  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  and accompanying Disney+ holiday special. Following the record-breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home , Sony is continuing to build out its own Spider-Man Universe, which began with Tom Hardy's Venom in 2018. Set to follow Jared Leto's  Morbius,  and ahead of production on the studio's upcoming Madame Web , Sony's next spin-off is confirmed to be Spider-Man's Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.   Sony has yet to confirm if Spider-Man will play a role in the Spider-inspired spin-off, but  Kraven the Hunter  already has a stacked cast. Secret Invasion  was one of the many surprise Disney+ series that Marvel Studios announced back in 2020. Since its announcement, however, there hasn't been much word about the show.
