New Moon Knight Trailer Features Falcon and Winter Soldier Easter Egg
After kicking off 2021 with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios is in for an even bigger expansion on Disney+ in 2022. This starts with Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight at the end of March, bringing one of the MCU’s first dives into more supernatural storytelling. Now that the series is so close to its debut, excitement for Moon Knight is reaching a fever pitch.
This six-episode series will open new doors within the MCU’s ever-expanding narrative thanks to its ties to both ancient Egyptian mythology and more mystical plot points. After bringing a mix of real-world adventures and more cosmic/Multiversal adventures last year, 2022 will let Isaac fully explore a multi-layered new hero with an intense backstory to unravel.

Recently, fans learned that Moon Knight would largely stand on its own as a story rather than being deeply interwoven with the rest of the MCU. However, even while the show attempts to start Isaac's hero on his own unique journey, new footage confirmed that this is still a Marvel Studios production within the existing MCU.
New Moon Knight Footage Debuts
Marvel Studios released a new 30-second TV spot for the upcoming Moon Knight series debuting on Disney+ on March 30.
Included in the footage is an advertisement for the Global Repatriation Council that first appeared in 2021's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Oscar Isaac's lead hero stands fully suited up in front of a bus with an advertisement for the GRC, which boasts the message "Helping You With Your Better Half."

The GRC played a major role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the first series that tackled daily life after The Blip in Avengers: Endgame. The organization managed resources for refugees displaced by the world-changing event and tried to help the world restore a sense of normalcy.
This footage also includes the first dialogue from Isaac's Marc Spector after only hearing Steven Grant throughout previous trailers and TV spots. Isaac uses his natural accent for Spector as opposed to the British one heard from his Grant persona.
The full TV spot, entitled "Secret Agent" can be seen below:

Moon Knight's Place in the MCU
Considering how big the GRC is in the overarching MCU story, it's not too surprising that it shows up once again in this footage from Moon Knight.
Following its introduction in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the organization also had an Easter egg-style cameo in Eternals as Sersi saw their ad on an electronic billboard. Although it showed up here, the group likely won't make much of an impact on Moon Knight's solo story, the same way it didn't play a role in Eternals' plot either.

Even though the GRC likely won't be utilized fully, fans should be excited to see its presence in any form as it ties Moon Knight back to the overarching story.
Also of note in this trailer is hearing Isaac's Marc Spector personality come through, especially since that's his true original identity. While it may be a while until the hero settles in on that persona within the plot, it will be something to pay close attention to as his character goes through intense development.
Moon Knight will arrive on Disney+ on March 30.
